we're raising funds to pay for a piece to be written just for us by one of our Land of Lakes Emerging composer winners, Neva Tesolin. We performed her piece, Pastures, in the Land of Lakes Showcase: Strings! concert, and we can't wait to hear what she'll do next!
Neva has already started working on our piece, and we've agreed to pay her $2716 for her work. We're hugely thankful to the SOCAN foundation and existing donors to this project, and just need a little more to meet our goal!
If we raise more than the commission amount, the remainder will be used to pay musicians for performing the piece in our 2026 season!
