Andrew Rasmus has served as a member of the percussion section for the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra since 2019.
Andrew performs extensively as a percussionist/timpanist in and around the Toronto area. Along with classical percussion, Andrew has also performed in various styles from jazz to traditional Turkish classical music.
Mr. Rasmus is an active percussionist and timpanist having performed with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company, among others. In addition to orchestral playing, Andrew also has several chamber music pursuits including the Toronto Brass Quintet, New ART/New MEDIA, and the Imagine Ensemble.
Currently Andrew has been actively working on various recording projects as well as upcoming performances of Trase Pa with the National Ballet of Canada at the Harbourfront Centre.
